Help me please? Pending
- 12/11/2003
I have never done this before and I'm not sure why my website is still showing pending when I placed the codes in my hmtl page. I need lots of help otherwise I feel that I just might give up. Tried replace the code but the same thing has come up. What am I doing wrong.

You may not have done anything wrong at all. If you can see the (ugly!) brown NavBar that says "PENDING" on your web page, you likely have the code placed correctly. Once you submit your web page for membership in any Ring, it's up to the RingMaster to review, deny/approve, and activate your site in the Ring. Until then, your site will remain in "pending" status. Some RM's take longer than others. If it's been over a week since you first submitted your site to the Ring, you can send the RM a *nice* inquiry by using the "Contact Ringmaster" link under "Member Tools" in the left-hand menu bar on the Ring's hub page.

Depending on the RM, a week may not be enough. When anyone applies to one of my webrings, my join page and also the application email advise them both how long it might take and how to monitor my status.
I work to continually update the status on my profile page.
For example, see here:
